10/1 Meeting Recap

• Our sister chapter at the University of Arizona is trying to win $1000 from their university.  Vote in the poll posted on our Facebook group to help them win the funds!
• You have one week left to register to vote!  Remember that you must fill out a voter registration form if this is your first time voting in Travis County or your address has changed.
• We will be having a Presidential Debate Watching Party on October 16th from 8pm-9:30pm.  Further information to come.
• Our Halloween Feast is on October 26th from 8pm-midnight in the Santa Rita suite in the Texas Union.  The cost is $10 in advance or $12 at the door.  We will have food, a costume contest, and other fun activities.  The party is open to all UT students, so invite your friends!
• October 27th-28th is the Texas Book Festival.  Check out their website for more information.
• We will have a booth at Longhorn Halloween on October 28th from 2pm-5pm.  Longhorn Halloween provides a safe, fun environment for the children of UT faculty, staff, and students.  We need volunteers to staff the booth and make this a great event for the kids!  Volunteer sign-ups coming soon.
• Our Harry Potter Murder Mystery Party will be on November 17th.  More details to come.
